Located on the coast in beautiful Sonoma County, the Bodega Bay Grange was founded by local fishermen whose families are still active in our Grange. Commercial fishing is the lifeblood of this community. All of us recognize the important contribution these brave men and women make as they risk their lives to bring fresh seafood to our table. Our organization welcomes a diversity of perspectives as evidenced by our current active Grange members who include people from professions including fishermen, marine scientists, ranchers, public utility district staff, political activists, and lawyers among others. We are proud to work together on many projects including our annual Cioppino dinner that serves hundreds of folks from all over the State, and provides funding for student scholarships that we award each year.
The Bodega Bay Grange 777 is a community service organization. In keeping with the tradition of husbandry established by the founders, we are dedicated to being responsible stewards of our coastal region. Our vision of this trust extends beyond our human neighbors to include all the constituents of our environs. We dedicate our efforts to the creation of a vibrant community that will sustain future generations in a balanced ecosystem.
